Mega Moolah Slot Bonus Round

Canadian players can enjoy a great combination of bonus features in the Mega Moolah slot. These are designed to generate large payouts and they make the gameplay very exciting.

The Mega Moolah Progressive Jackpot Bonus Game is randomly triggered. However, the higher the bet, the greater the chances of triggering it. The bonus feature will display a large wheel with markings of four different colours. One spin will determine the progressive jackpot won from the four available:

• Mega Jackpot starts at C$1,000,000
• Major Jackpot starts at C$10,000
• Minor Jackpot starts at C$100
• Mini Jackpot starts at C$10

Free Spins in the Mega Moolah slot are triggered when three, four or five monkey symbols appear on the screen. 15 free spins are automatically awarded and all wins during these rounds are tripled. The bonus feature can be re-triggered by getting three or more scatter monkey symbols.

The wild symbols, represented by the lion icons, can substitute for other symbols, apart for the scatter. Combinations done with a wild symbol will have the payout doubled.

Mega Moolah Slot Theme

The theme of the game certainly plays a big role in its popularity. Mega Moolah is a video slot with good graphics. The images are displayed in a cartoonish style and they portray seven animals, which look very happy. Everything comes together nicely with the African savanna in the background.

One downside would be the use of five standard card symbols that don’t really fit in that well. They do, however, provide the advantage of making the low-paying symbols easily distinguishable.

The soundtrack also matches the theme and players can hear various animals in the background. It comes with a great tune when spinning the reels and celebratory sounds for winning combinations. The music changes during the free spins to help make the game even more exciting.

Mega Moolah Slot | Mobile vs Desktop

The Mega Moolah slot mobile experience is very similar to the desktop one. While the features remain the same, the controls will change to provide a better interface for smartphones.

• Simplified dashboard to save space
• Large spin button on the right side
• Automatically fits the device screen

• Dedicated dashboard at the bottom
• Options for windowed and full screen
• Improved desktop controls and design

Our Verdict of the Mega Moolah Slot Game

Overall, Mega Moolah comes with some unique advantages that are hard to find anywhere else. The biggest attraction is of course its progressive jackpots. Due to the immense popularity of the game, the prizes increase incredibly quickly and this results in massive jackpots.

The only real downside is that the animations don’t live up to the ones found in new slots. Microgaming launched Mega Moolah in 2012, so you shouldn’t expect any breath-taking visuals. The rewarding free spins and growing jackpots should make up for it.

• Average jackpot win of over C$5 million
• The free spins mode has tripled payouts
• Jackpot bonus game randomly triggered
• Mobile-friendly version for all devices
• Available at top Canadian casinos online

• Graphics can seem a bit outdated
• Maximum bet of just C$6.25
• No free play option
