How We Rate Casinos
Every list of casinos on 1Gambling is built with the same checks. A brand has to pass all of them before it can appear, and the order on each page depends on what that page is about.
- Licence and owner. We record who operates the site and which authority issued its licence. Operators registered with iGaming Ontario are marked, and their offers are not advertised to Ontario players.
- Canadian players and money. The site must accept players from Canada, and we check whether accounts can be held in Canadian dollars.
- Payments. We list the deposit and withdrawal methods that matter here: Interac, iDebit, Instadebit, cards, e-wallets and crypto.
- Welcome offer terms. We read the wagering requirement, minimum deposit and free spins, and publish the figures only when a trusted source confirms them.
- Relevance to the page. A page about Interac only lists casinos that accept Interac; a live dealer page only lists casinos with live games.
What we do not do
We do not publish star ratings made up for marketing, we do not invent bonus amounts, and we do not list operators whose offers we cannot verify for Canadian players.
Updates
Offers change often. Lists show the date of the last check, and we update the figures when an operator changes its terms.
